I enjoyed this series of books. I expect somewhat trite and predictable from these harlequin books, but that being said this series was fun and I liked being able to buy them in a set. I enjoy the escape from reality with some rolayty sweeps a girl off her feet and eveyone lives happily ever after (after a few bumps of course. So if that is what you arel looking for I recomend the whole set of these books 1-8.The only downside, is amazon is trying to recomend the individual books in the set to me now. I like the feature that shows you have already purchased a book, particularly as titles can be very similar, and by buying these as a set, it did not show that I had purchased the books in the series.

I read all the books in this series including the extra book that was included with the first compiliation. Some were good, some were so-so. I was looking forward to reading the last book and hoping it all came together. Well, it did, but I was shocked to learn, very early in the last book, that the heroine was fat. I don't mean fleshy. The author makes it quite clear that she has a penchant for stuffing her face and is very overweight. I'm sorry. That was a big, fat (if you'll excuse the pun) turn off. When I picture my hero & heroine together, I want sexy and gorgeous... not morbidly obese and plain. I struggled to get through the book and only did so because I wanted to see what happened with the rest of the characters at the end.
